Renew Clinic's Conference: Understanding Addiction: SET FREE
Knoxville Convention Center
September 15th
This conference will address addiction from a biblical perspective in hopes of encouraging family members,
individuals in recovery, and those seeking recovery. You will hear from leading experts, such as Tonier Cain,
who is a nationally renown trauma informed care expert, author and producer; Dr. Neil T. Anderson, professor,
pastor and best-selling author of over 100 books; and Sharon Hersh, a counselor, speaker, and author of the
book The Last Addiction. All conference participants will spend a day learning and attending breakout sessions.
This conference will also help equip pastors, church leaders, and addiction professionals with an
understanding of addiction and to learn how to rely on the power and wisdom
of Jesus Christ to walk with people who are addicted.
One thing the Church knows that the world doesn't quite understand:
Jesus sets people free. You don't want to miss this!
All proceeds of this conference will go towards a scholarship fund
to pay for treatment for individuals who cannot afford it.

NEW OPEN SHARE GROUPS on Thursdays
EATING DISORDER RECOVERY FOR WOMEN
Weekly Open Share Group
Join Any Week!
Recovery at Cokesbury is excited to announce a new group for those struggling with anorexia, binge eating, and bulimia. This will be a safe place to be heard and find comfort, acceptance, courage and wisdom as others share their experiences of strength and hope on their recovery journey from disordered eating. We will be a community where discussions are private, secure, and understood. We follow Recovery guidelines from beginning to end. It is our hope this group will help each individual move forward in a positive direction and help separate myth from reality.
Eating Disorders are widely misunderstood and commonly misdiagnosed. At times eating disorders are callously written off as acts of willful self-destruction, stubbornness, or vanity. However, those who suffer through this disease, as well as their loved ones, know they are all-consuming and often deadly conditions that cause substantial mental anguish and physical harm.
If you are struggling with the impact of an eating disorder, we invite you to join us Thursday evenings at 7:45, after the recovery service.
No Registration Required.
