Celi Courtney, Clinical Director

Celi Courtney has a master's degree in counseling from Carson Newman University and an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Tennessee. Celi has received life experience and education being a single parent and working in the financial industry for over 25 years.

Celi works with individuals who struggle with disordered eating, relationship building, communication, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, anger, parenting, self-worth and spiritual identity.


Vicky McDaniel, LPC-MHSP, Therapist

Vicky McDaniel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider who obtained a master's degree from the University of Memphis in Counseling. She began working as a therapist for Cokesbury in 2006. Vicky has worked in several clinical settings including inpatient mental health, community mental health, chemical dependency and geriatric issues.

Vicky's counseling interests and experience include working with individuals recovering from addictions and assisting family members in supporting loved ones in healthy ways; helping clients heal form sexual abuse trauma; handling divorce along with single parenting and step-parenting; depression and anxiety; self-esteem and faith struggles.


Ashley Lewis, MS, LMFT

Ashley Lewis, a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, received her master's degree from Eastern Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. She joined Cokesbury Counseling Center in 2014 and works two days a week.

Ashley's counseling interests include premarital preparation, marriage and family issues, life transitions, spiritual development, care giving and medical family therapy. She is a trained facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich© Program and provides premarital counseling for Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Ashley is a member of the Tennessee Association for Marital and Family Therapy.
